Eagerly waiting for Ashwin’s releaseone cut two cut On February 3 on Amazon Prime Video. “This film is memorable for me in many ways. First of all this is a PRK production. Most of the actors (Danish Sait, Prakash Belawadi, Samyukta Belawadi) come from a theater background and it was a pleasure to work with them. Vineet (K Kumar Jordanian fame) comic timing is impeccable.”
Ashwin says he lacks words to describe director Vamsi Bograj’s cinematic brilliance. “He announced the film on his FB page. I connected with him and shared my film experiences. He responded quickly and offered me the role. I am very grateful to him for this experience.”
Ashwin has shared the screen with late actor Puneet Rajkumar in films like Chakravyuha, Prince, Yuvaratna: and now the much awaited James, “He was so down to earth. I last saw him during dinner to celebrate the completion ofOne cut to cut.”
Talking about his character in the film, Ashwin said that he is playing the role of editor of a new TV channel. “The only goal of this guy is to get high TRP and make his channel successful. The film has been shot in sync sound. This was my first experience as an actor. You have to be emotional and also be careful about your breath as there will be no dubbing here. It was a pleasure working with such a talented team.
Apart from one cut… Ashwin is also waiting for the release of films Gajanan and the Gang, Hope And yellow board , “The release of these films depends on the pandemic situation. Teams are working hard to knock on various OTT doors. Actors like me hope for the best. If the film gets a theatrical or digital release, we are fine. ,
According to Ashwin, the film industry is directly related to the consumer. “And so we are badly affected by the lockdown. To keep myself motivated, I and a group of friends joined hands and started a production house called Bharat Talkies. We have made a film directed by Karthik Marlabavi, which we will release soon. Although we were hit hard financially, it was also good to see that challenges bring together talent, who put money aside and make films. ,
The film is a part of Yellow Board, where he plays the role of a cab driver from Mandya. Hence “I had to change my dialect to Mandya Kannada and the role is of a tough guy who has gone through more difficult phase in his life.
Ashwin will be sharing the screen with actors like Pradeep Bhogdi and the film is gearing up for release.
