NS Bajaj Chetak It is quite attractive when it comes to its looks, build quality and even ride-ability. And the latest person who seems to be getting hit by an electric scooter is Kiran Rao. The director and producer recently took the delivery of his new Bajaj Chetak but its color has got us all excited. Rao painted his Chetak Rivaz in Topaz Blue color scheme, which is not one of the standard color options on the model. And of course, the color adds a distinct charm to the offering.

It is unclear if Bajaj plans to introduce the new color as part of the standard options
Except for the custom color, no other changes are visible on the Chetak. The model draws power from a 3.8 kW PMS motor that develops around 5 bhp and 16.2 Nm of peak torque. The scooter uses a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that promises 80 km on a single charge, which can go up to 95 km in Eco mode. The top speed is around 70 kmph. The Chetak can be charged via the standard three-pin charging socket and takes around six to eight hours for a full charge. There is no fast charger option in this.
Other features include an all-metal body, LED lighting, illuminated switchgear, sequential turn indicators, Bluetooth-enabled instrument console and more. Bajaj Chetak is priced at ₹ 1.42 Lakh for the Urban variant and ₹ 1.44 Lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) for the Premium variant. However, the model is now priced at a premium over rivals including the Ola S1 and Ather 450X.
