The book, which was recently launched in Mumbai, details Pandey’s globe-trotting adventure to track down and capture dreaded gangster Ravi Pujari.

Ravi Pujari is a criminal involved in several murders and extortion cases. He is also known for threatening various Bollywood stars.

Announcing the screen adaptation of the book, Umesh Shukla said in a statement, “ nemesis of a don Dr. Amar Kumar Pandey has an insightful journey and it is a story that I think every Indian should know. It is an inspiration and shows the dedication of our Indian police force to deliver justice at any cost.”

The adaptation is currently in the pre-production stage. It is unclear whether this will be a film or a series.
