Divyanka Tripathi shares wedding photos of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star Shireen Mirza aka Simmi

TV actress Shireen Mirza, who is best known for playing the role of ‘Simmi’ in the popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, recently tied the knot with Hasan Sartaj. They were married on 23 October in Jaipur. Now, Divyanka Tripathi has shared some beautiful pictures wishing the couple a fresh start. In the pictures, Divyanka is with her husband Vivek Dahiya and the newly wed couple. Along with the pictures, the actress wrote, “Do dil mil gaya hai… again #shaadi mubarak.”

Replying to the post, Shireen took to the comments section and she wrote, “Thank you again for being a part of our celebration.”

Meanwhile, the celebrations of their dream wedding began with a sangeet ceremony, followed by a traditional nikah ceremony in Jaipur and a reception hosted by their families. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-actors attended Shireen Mirza and Hasan Sartaj wedding ceremony, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Aly Goni and Krishna Mukherjee. For the wedding ceremony, Shireen wore a beautiful traditional red and gold lehenga, while her husband Sartaj wore a cream sherwani with a turban.

Delhi-based IT professional Hasan Sartaj proposed Shireen on Valentine’s Day in February and now both are married.

Post-wedding, Shireen Mirza shared pictures and videos of herself performing the mandatory cooking ritual on Instagram. Leaving the old age of cooking something ‘sweet’ for the family, Shireen opted for a few ‘chapte’ options. From pasta to pani puri, the dining table had everything and pani puri was seen eating street style, standing in the balcony and enjoying itself organically. “The rasam is called ‘kheer me haath’ but we are deliwalas so we made every possible chaat at home, not just kheer,” she captioned the post.
