The festive season is here and so are the invitations to myriad parties and events that you may have to attend this month. However, along with the frequent application and removal of makeup, you may also need to take care of your skin to maintain its natural glow. There are many skin care products available in the market, each of which promises to be one. But before you venture into the skin care market, you must remember what your skin needs.

Here are some basic habits and routines that you can follow no matter what skin problem you have:

Sanitary

The first and foremost step of your skin care routine should be maintaining cleanliness. If you’re not sure of your skin type, cleanse your skin with a gentle gel-based face wash. A gentle face wash will not remove the essential and naturally occurring skin barrier of your face.
