Chirote, also known as feni, is a sweet and crusty snack made from all-purpose flour. It is easy to make and does not require more than two ingredients. The best part is that you can make them in batches and store them in an air-tight container till the festivities are over. Try making Chirote for Diwali this season. Here is the recipe for you.

How to make Chirote Chirote Recipe:

Put refined flour and ghee in a bowl and knead a hard dough by adding little water. Prepare a sata (sweet ghee paste) to apply in the center. Whisk together all purpose flour, ghee and sugar until a thick paste is formed. Knead the dough again and prepare thick rotis, by placing bet in the middle, roll the roti tightly. Cut the roll into small pieces and flatten it with your hands. Fry till golden brown from both the sides. Your crispy, flaky and flaky shrimp is ready to enjoy.
