Happy Diwali 2022: Diwali festival begins with Dhanteras. On this day, devotees worship Lord Dhanvantari, the god of Hindu Ayurveda. Dhanteras means wealth and Teras means 13th day. According to the Hindu calendar, Dhanteras, which is considered one of the most auspicious days, is celebrated on the Trayodashi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Ashwin.
