PM Modi further said that the border, coastal areas lacking normal connectivity now have roads, optical fiber which in turn enhances deployment capabilities, facilities for soldiers.
“Earlier, procurement of defense equipment for the security forces used to take years at once. Commitment to self-reliance in the defense sector is the only way to change the old ways. We have to transform our military capabilities, change the world and the world of war. mode,” he said.
The Prime Minister also interacted with the soldiers and distributed sweets among them.
