Ranchi: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) did a. has assisted Minor Boy victim of sexual abuse with children of government shelter home in city.
The boy has told that the accused was carrying out the crime since September 18. Accused has been arrested.
DLSA secretary Kamala Kumari met the boy on Sunday and sought details of the incident. She also questioned the center superintendent who said that she was not present at the center when the incident happened.
Kumari said, “Efforts are on to trace the family members of the boy so that the government can extend welfare schemes to them. A proposal to admit the boy to the school is also under consideration.
Sources said that the boy is a resident of Bihar. The police found him at Hatia railway station and handed him over to the child welfare committee.
The DLSA team visited the shelter home on the instructions of Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, acting chairman of Jharkhand Legal Services Authority.
