Cooking is a unique combination of art and science. And the beauty of cooking is that sometimes even the simplest ingredients can make the worst of dishes. Having said that, not every dish is good. And impressing food connoisseurs with sophisticated palates can be a daunting task. And, celebrity chef and restaurateur Gordon James Ramsay has always been a tough guest to please, as evidenced by his appearances on reality shows and cooking shows. But there was one dish that managed to impress even Gordon Ramsay, and in this case, a woman used the simplest of ingredients to cook something “phenomenal” for the chef.
A video of the incident, which seems to be from years ago, is once again going viral on Reddit Gordon Ramsay Feedback. In the video shared by the handle Kronyzx, the woman serves a simple dish consisting of ribs, chicken and vegetables to the chef. What happens next will warm the heart of any eater.

Gordon Ramsay is known for his harsh but witty criticism style.
In the one minute long video, we first see the woman offering the dish to Gordon Ramsay’s chef and leaving him alone to enjoy the meal. Chef explains that his plate has spicy chicken jambalaya, corn and bean Succotash, While the chef digs into the dish, the video cuts to a woman praying in the kitchen, hoping that the chef likes to eat. While Gordon Ramsay begins by saying that the plating is clumsy, in the next scene, he admits that the meat is “tender” and the food is “phenomenal”.
“This is probably the first time I should go back to the kitchen with an empty plate,” says Gordon Ramsay. Then he goes back to the kitchen with his plate and tells the woman that the food was Delicious, He adds, “You know, I thought it was going to be too spicy but it was toned down and it was fine.” “It really made me feel like I’m back at Mom’s for the first time,” he says. The woman’s face glows with joy and she says, “It made me cry.” She hugs Maharaj.
