DRI: Courier, postal cargo preferred mode of drug trafficking: DRI – Times of India

New Delhi: Courier and postal cargo have emerged as the preferred modes of transport of drugs by smugglers due to the anonymity associated with their use, a government report said.
The country’s large coastline with several major and minor ports is vulnerable to drug smuggling by sea as well, smuggling into India 2020-21, released by the Government of India Directorate of Revenue Intelligence said.
