Drones traced from Pakistan driven out by BSF in Jammu’s Arnia; 1 terrorist killed near LOC

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Saturday fired at a drone coming from Pakistan side in Arnia in Jammu, after which it immediately returned.

On 7th May, at 7.25 pm, a drone coming from the Pakistani side was seen in Arnia area of ​​RS Pura subdivision.

The drone was barely able to cross the international border when alert BSF personnel opened fire. The soldiers fired eight rounds at the drone, after which it immediately returned.

After this, BSF personnel searched for further movement of drones in the area, but nothing suspicious was found, the sources said.

Last month, the BSF shot down a drone coming from Pakistan in Amritsar, Punjab.

1 terrorist killed

Meanwhile, a militant who was trying to infiltrate along the Line of Control in Lam sector of Rajouri district in Jammu was gunned down by a vigilant Army patrol. The body of the terrorist has been recovered along with the items to survive.
