Gurugram: In a shocking incident, Taoru Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Haryana An overloaded truck rammed while trying to stop mining activities near Pachgaon village Noah On Tuesday, district officials said that one of the accused was later arrested after he was injured in an encounter with the police.
Haryana DGP PK Agrawal said, “One accused has been arrested after the encounter. He is shot in the leg. Teams are conducting raids to arrest other accused also. Strict action will be taken.”
Acting on a tip-off, the 59-year-old deceased constable – identified as Surendra Singh – reached Pachgaon in Sadar police station area around 11.30 am to stop a truck carrying stones illegally.

Singh signaled the truck driver to stop.
However, the driver did not stop and ran over the constable.

According to local officials, Singh died on the spot.
Nuh police spokesperson Krishan Kumar said, “When the DSP reached the spot, there was an illegal truck. He got down from the car and went near the truck. The truck driver instead of coming out crushed Singh.”
Reacting to the incident, the Chief Minister said, “Strict action has been ordered in the murder of DSP Tawadu (Noah) Surendra Singh ji. Not a single criminal will be spared.
Khattar also expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul.

Khattar said Singh’s family would be given a government job and a compensation of Rs 1 crore. He said that the dumper (vehicle) has been identified and the accused will be arrested soon.
Haryana ADGP (Law and Order) Sandeep Khirwar said that they have registered a case of 379 and 188 under IPC sections 302 (murder), 307, 333, 186, 353 and they will come out with full progress of the case soon. ,
Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij told media persons, “I have given instructions for strict action against the culprits. If needed, we will call police from adjoining districts to nab the culprits. No one will be spared.”
Singh, a resident of Sarangpur village in Hisar, had joined Haryana Police in 1994 as an assistant sub-inspector.
He was due to retire from the force in four months.
Haryana Police has resolved to provide justice to the DSP.
Senior officials have reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
