DU Admission: Delhi University round 1 seat acceptance process to close today

Delhi University (DU) The date and time for the first round of Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2022 has been extended till October 22. Applicants were earlier given time till October 21 to accept, but now they have been given one more day. Candidates can now accept seats by visiting the official website of DU at du.ac.in. The verification and approval of online applications by the colleges is till 2 PM on 23rd October.

The last date for online payment of application fee has now been extended up to October 24 at 5 PM. Candidates who have been allotted seat in CSAS Round-I can “Accept Allotment” through the dashboard. From now on, on receiving “approval from the College Principal”, they can proceed to pay the fee to confirm the admission as per the guidelines of the University.

Candidates should note that they have to take admission as and when offered to participate in the subsequent rounds of CSAS. Only those candidates who have secured their admission in a particular round will be considered for upgradation to subsequent rounds, if applicable.

The window for “Higher Preferences Upgrade/Re-Order” for the second round of CSAS will be available only in respect of those candidates who have been admitted and paid the fee. , “Other candidates who have not been allotted a seat in the first round of CSAS will be considered for the second round of CSAS subject to the availability of the seat and the allotment policy as stated in the CSAS.” stated in the notice.

This year, the university is admitting students through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) marks instead of their class 12 marks. On September 12, the university released its admission-cum-allocation policy (CSAS). Admission through CSAS is being conducted in three phases – submission of CSAS-2022 application form, selection of programs and filling of preferences, and seat allotment and admission. Admissions are open for 79 UG programs in 67 colleges, departments and centres. The programs include 206 combinations of BA courses.
