New Delhi, Aug 16 (PTI): Delhi University Planning to start internal assessment in distance learning program From the current academic session until now, internal assessment applied only to regular programmes, and did not apply to correspondence courses and the School of Continuing Education.
According to the agenda of the meeting accessed by PTI, a resolution in this regard is to be tabled during the upcoming executive council meeting on Thursday.
The Executive Council is the highest decision-making body of the University.

Since the Internal Assessment Scheme has been mandated by DEB-UGC, it has to be implemented in all the programmes. open learning school (SOL), Distance and Continuing Education, Open Learning Campus from the academic session 2022-23, the university said.
The agenda mentioned, “Specific Ordinances relating to the schemes of examinations of various courses shall be amended to the extent of internal assessment in this Ordinance, subject.”
