Dubai Expo revises death toll to 6 after including Covid-related deaths

Expo 2020 states that workers’ accommodations are audited to ensure that conditions are not cramped.

The country has launched one of the world’s fastest vaccination campaigns, with more than 80% of its population of about 10 million people vaccinated. The UAE is betting that 25 million people will visit the six-month expo.

Visitors who are 18 years of age and older entering must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. There are also testing facilities on site.
