Subi Suresh, One of the most popular faces on television, noted anchor and film actress Subi Suresh passed away at a private hospital here on Wednesday, according to industry sources. He was admitted due to liver failure and was also diagnosed with jaundice. The 41 year old actress was single. Soon after the news broke on social media, several celebrities took to their social media handles to mourn the demise of the late actress.
Dulquer Salmaan took to Twitter and shared a picture with the late actress. Condoling his demise, Dulquer wrote, “Absolutely shocked to hear about Subi Suresh. He is young and has a lot left to do. A real loss to the Malayalam film fraternity. Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.” Praying for you to get through this difficult time.”
Veteran actor Mammootty and Dulquer’s father also condoled his demise on Facebook. “Tribute to Subi Suresh (sic),” he wrote alongside the late actress’s picture.
Paying tribute to the legendary actor Mohan Lal Also took to Facebook and wrote, “Dear artist Subi Suresh who captured the love of Malayalam audience with smile left us untimely. Painful condolence at the loss of dear sister who was supposed to scale many heights in acting and performance”
Subi Suresh stepped onto the screen as a mimicry artist – a rarity among women – and then went on to become a busy TV serial actress. Soon her popularity soared and she became known for her charming and likeable character. Another popular actor Tiny Tom said that things were progressing fast to undergo a liver transplant surgery and the work was underway for the same when he breathed his last.
The TV and film industry is in a state of shock as many of them expressed surprise knowing about his illness. The comedian said, “I had no idea she had the disease at all and now I’ve been told things have gone from bad to worse in just two weeks.” She was a bubbly personality and was known for her easy-going nature.
