IRCTC Food Complaints Released: Train food in India has always divided people into two parts. There are some who do not appreciate it while others stay away from it. The newly launched range of Vande Bharat Express (VBE) by Indian Railways aims to win over the latter camp. Along with top-class seating and other amenities, the USP of the premium train was considered to have good quality food. However, it seems that the problem of food grains on trains, even in VB, remains a real possibility.

On February 10, two days after the launch of the Mumbai-Shirdi VBE, Twitter user Viresh Narkar (@vireshnarkar) shared his experience on the “fantastic” train. In one of the posts, he tagged railway officials and criticized them for serving “dust our cornflakes”. In the comments, he gave a possible reason. “Dear Team, I think there was smoke outside and small particles of stain got inside and got stuck on the milk. Please provide substitutes for milk and cornflakes. According to the board, it is expected that in a few days, the food will be specially will improve.
