Dyson Purifier Cool, Hot + Cool Air Purifier Launched with Better Purity, Quiet Fans

Dyson India has announced the launch of two new generation air purifiers from its portfolio – Dyson Purifier Cool and Purifier Hot + Cool. The two new air purifiers look similar to their predecessors, Pure Cool and Pure Hot+Cool (Review), but the company claims that it has offered strategic engineering upgrades to make the new purifier better as an overall package. Among the major improvements Dyson claims are improved air purification by reducing air leaks, and quieter air output from its fans to help with more silent runtime. Most of its other features remain iterative at best.

In terms of new features, the Dyson Cooler Purifier and Hot+Cool Air Purifiers claim to come with a re-engineered airflow pathway. This, the company says, offers a completely sealed HEPA 13 filtration process. The improved sealing reportedly blocks any loose filter fittings to restrict any incoming, unfiltered air from bypassing the filter. This also applies to air production, therefore allegedly restricting the re-circulation of dirty air into pure air flow. A Dyson spokesperson on the matter claims that with this new sealing technology, the new purifiers can remove 99.95 percent of impurities from the Cool and Hot+Cool air, down to 0.1 micro-sized particles.

Dyson further claims that its re-engineered sealing applies to the entire machine, not just its filter, and has given its purifiers HEPA H13 standard certification. The company says, “Dyson engineers took a forensic approach to achieve the machine completely sealed, leaving filters on an additional 24 critical points to create high-pressure seals and prevent contaminants from being carried back into the room.” For.”

In terms of its low noise output, Dyson claims to have reduced the points of contact between the output air and the body of the purifier, which appears to have resulted in 20 percent less noise output than the new purifiers Cool and Hot + Cool. “Dyson engineers refined the overall air flow path by widening the aperture (slot into which air exits the machine) and its geometry was improved,” the company says. Most of its other features, including its air multiplier technology, coupled with its bladeless fan, its heating technology, and more, remain unchanged as before.

The Dyson Purifier Cool is priced at Rs 45,900, while the Purifier Hot + Cool is priced at Rs 55,900. Both units are available in white and black, and can be purchased online from Dyson’s own site, Amazon, and Flipkart. They are also available at some Chrome and Reliance outlets and at 12 physical company outlets in Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.
