eBikeGo, one of India’s leading electric two-wheeler mobility platform, has announced the setting up of an IoT-enabled charging network. The smart charging solution, called eBikeGo Charge, will offer an affordable charging network for electric two-wheelers, and can be accessed through the eBikeGo Charge mobile app. The system will be Wi-Fi enabled and can also monitor charging statistics in real time for a seamless charging experience. Each eBikeGo charge station will be set up at a distance of 500 meters across all metros and other cities, the company said in a statement.

eBikeGo Charge Smart Charging Network will employ AI and IoT among other latest technologies.
“We are extremely happy to deploy our smart charging station, eBikeGo Charge, in all major cities where the demand for electric vehicles has increased. This measure will not only help increase the demand for electric vehicles and grow the EV ecosystem of the country, Rather it will also help in reducing the issues of pollution and battery swapping system, which are major concerns in a country like ours. In a year, eBikeGo expects to deploy at least one lakh charging stations. These charging stations are AI and IoT-enabled, and can be operated through the eBikeGo app. eBikeGo will use this to strive to realize its dream of eco-friendly transportation,” said Irfan Khan, Founder and CEO, eBikeGo .

The system will be an economical charging network for both electric two-wheelers and electric three-wheelers, and the system automatically shuts down once the battery is fully charged. eBikeGo Charge offers pre-defined recharge plans as per user demand, making it cost-effective, and will offer an integrated payment mechanism.

Along with a 3-pin power connector, the eBikeGo Charge includes distinctive LED lighting for various charging states. It has 190V-240V power range with 50Hz AC output of 16A/3.3kW. It has OCPP, Wi-Fi, RFID and a mobile app. Machine learning and AI are used to power this unique portable charging station. It displays a heat map of the revenue graph as well as usage information. It has a proper error and complaint management system which will send automatic error resolution alerts in case of any problem while charging. eBikeGo Charge will be available in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Pune, New Delhi, Amritsar and Hyderabad, the seven cities where eBikeGo is now operational.
