Mahindra & Mahindra recently launched the XUV700 in India, which is creating a wave in the under Rs 25 lakh SUV segment, offering a number of segment first features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) that make a car Helps the driver to prevent accidents by using radar based safety system. However, a customer recently acquired his new Mahindra XUV700 SUV only to realize that it has a faulty ADAS.
Sharing details about the incident, the customer posted a video revealing his after-sales experience with Mahindra. According to the customer, the vehicle he received had a faulty ADAS and he went to the dealership to get the problem resolved. While the dealership failed to identify the cause of the problem, they reached out to Mahindra’s service team, who worked on the SUV for a few days, but again failed to find a solution.
After the customer faced delays and no solution on hand, asked the dealership to take back the SUV and refund the money. Now such incidents are quite common in the automotive sector where customers are not happy with the solution and often ask for money back. While most of the brands and their dealerships fail to handle such dire situations, Mahindra took a step forward to offer the all-new XUV700 to the customer.

Interestingly, this time around, he was offered a black SUV which he liked at the first position, but due to delay in the delivery of Midnight Black XUV700, he had to take the delivery of Silver XUV700. The owner shared his happiness in a vlog and also explained how he considered other options but found none quite as good as the XUV700.
Mahindra XUV700 has become one of the best selling Mahindras in no time, garnering over 75,000 bookings since its launch in August 2021. While there has been a massive backlog due to increased demand and chip shortage, some variants and colors have waiting periods. As high as a year, potential buyers are more than happy to wait than go for an alternative option for the SUV’s pricing and technology package.
Mahindra XUV700 also won the inaugural Zee Auto Awards 2021 in the SUV of the Year and Car of the Year category.
