The tech giant hopes the tool will help get users back to Microsoft Edge after the numbers have remained stable in recent months. A StatCounter report suggested that Microsoft Edge has “either lost or failed to capture market share” over the past few months.
The report also mentioned that Edge claims a 3.99% share of the market (on both desktop and mobile platforms), which is estimated to be around 200 million users. On the other hand, Google Chrome is dominated by 64.95% of the market and Apple Safari 19.01% are users. However, Edge has a slightly larger share than Mozilla Firefox which is 3.26%.
