To make this, first put dry red chili, black pepper, cloves, coriander, garlic, ginger, cumin and bay leaves in a pan. Fry till the aroma comes and then grind it. Now in the same pan add ghee, curry leaves and onion. Let the onion soften. Add turmeric powder, salt along with the roasted spices and mix. Now add grated tomatoes and cook it.
