Cairo: Egypt’s foreign ministry has urged rival Libyan officials to meet in Cairo to “seize the opportunity of their presence together to resolve issues during this round of talks.”

Williams said in the inaugural session: “Time is running out fast and the Libyan people are more concerned than ever for stability.

“As you know, the work of this committee started on 13th April and hence we will complete its work on 28th May i.e. within 45 days.

The first round of consultations concluded last month without any agreement.
