ELECRAMA EXPO TO START FROM FEBRUARY 18, 2023

The Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA) on Friday announced that ELECRAMA, its stand-alone showcase of the Indian electrical and allied electronics industry, is scheduled to begin from February 18, 2023.

Hamza Arsiwala, president-elect of IEEMA, said Telangana has a base of large companies and many small and medium enterprises and has many IEEMA members who are engaged in manufacturing of transformers, switchgear and batteries, among other equipment. “Through ELECRAMA we aim to showcase India’s strength to connect more deeply with the rest of the world. We aim to connect equipment manufacturers, suppliers and service providers with key decision makers and end customers such as utilities, EPCs and private power producers and will focus on connecting our MSME units to global value chains. In this edition, we aim to secure business queries worth $6 billion from ELECRAMA 2023.”

Jitendra Agarwal, President, Elekrama, said the event would focus on innovation and showcasing futuristic technologies. There were many opportunities for growth for start-ups and other businesses as investments were being made in sectors such as railways, defense and the electric vehicle eco-system.

“ELECRAMA is the largest single exhibition in the T&D sector globally. With around 2000 exhibitors, 5 concurrent conferences, 500,000 visitors from 70 countries generating billions of dollars in revenue for the Indian electrical manufacturing industry,” R Prakash, IEEMA Southern Region said the chairman.

ELECRAMA will be organized from February 18 to February 22, 2023 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.
