Election Commission announces Khatauli assembly by-election on 5 December

The Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Monday issued a notification declaring Khatauli assembly seat vacant.

Election The commission on Tuesday announced that the by-polls to Khatauli assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh would be held on December 5 while the counting of votes would take place on December 8.

The seat fell vacant following the disqualification of BJP MLA Vikram Singh Saini.
