Twitter CEO Elon Musk said on Thursday that it had found a new chief executive for the social media platform without naming his replacement.
Musk said in a tweet, “Excited to announce that I have a new CEO for X/Twitter. She’ll be starting in ~6 weeks!”
Musk said he would transition to “executive chairman and CTO, overseeing product, software and sysops”.

This move is likely to bring relief Tesla The concerns of investors, who are concerned about the time Musk is devoting to transforming Twitter. Musk also runs a rocket company spacex,
Tesla shares rose 2.4 percent in a volume spike on the news.
Musk, who said in November that he hoped to reduce his time at Twitter and eventually find a new leader to run the social media company, had not previously named any potential candidates.
The billionaire’s first two weeks as the new Twitter owner in October were marked by a rapid turnaround. He quickly fired Twitter’s previous CEO, Parag Agarwal, and other senior leaders, and then laid off half his staff in November.
Musk, a self-proclaimed free speech absolutist, has said he has taken over Twitter to prevent the platform from becoming an echo chamber for hate and divisiveness.
He also said he would “defeat” spam bots on Twitter, a key area of conflict with Twitter’s board over his $54 billion (roughly Rs. 4,43,550 crores) purchase of the company.
