Elon Musk raises the price of Twitter Blue for Android, here’s how much it’ll cost per month

San Francisco: Elon Musk-owned Twitter has increased the price of its Blue service for Android users, for which individuals will now have to pay $11 a month.

Twitter Blue plans start at $8/month or $84/year in available countries to get the blue checkmark in addition to early access to features.

According to the company’s Help Center page, “All Twitter Blue features will be available immediately, except for the blue checkmark, which may take time to appear to ensure review of subscribed accounts.”

Along with Blue Checkmark, the Twitter Blue feature offers customers a way to enhance and customize their Twitter experience – including – custom app icons, custom navigation, headers, undo tweets, longer video uploads, and more.

The Twitter Blue plan is currently only available in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the UK on web, iOS or Android.

The company says it “reserves the right to remove your blue checkmark without notice at any time without offering a refund if you violate our Terms of Service or if your account is suspended”. .

The micro-blogging platform further mentioned that it is also piloting a new service called Twitter Verification for Organizations, which is a service for business entities on Twitter that adds a gold checkmark to official business accounts.
