And now, his recent tweet has fueled the price of some unknown cryptocurrencies.
Musk recently tweeted a photo of a new Shiba Inu puppy sleeping on the floor. The billionaire captioned the picture as ‘Floki has arrived’, which fueled the floki-themed cryptocurrency prices boost as some of them witnessed a sharp rally of nearly 1,000% in 24 hours.
According to coinmarket cap, Cryptocurrency Shiba Floki prices skyrocketed nearly 1,000%, with Musk tweeting a sharp rally, and the biggest gain being $0.000000534, the latest crypto that is a descendant of meme father Dogecoin, according to Coinmarketcap. Another crypto, the Floki Inu, has also risen by 60% while the Floki Shiba is up 25%. Similar to Musk’s tweet, Floki Coin also saw a 250% jump.
Dogecoin’s official Twitter account responded to Musk’s tweet, saying, “Mr. Musk Sir, I just want to let you know that your dog is somewhat the size of a small bean. Thank you. That’s it.”

This isn’t the first time Musk’s tweet has pushed up crypto prices related to Shiba Inu or Floki since the entrepreneur who previously tweeted on naming his Shiba Inu pet “Floki” sent prices for such virtual tokens.
