Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s helicopter made an emergency landing at 10:30 am.

A helicopter carrying spiritual leader and Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had to make an emergency landing in Tamil Nadu’s Erode district this morning due to bad weather. Officials said there was no report of anyone being injured.
Officials said the chopper took off after a quick check.
Erode Collector MR H Krishnanunni told NDTV, “Everyone including Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is safe. The helicopter took off after the weather improved.”
A video from the site showed Sri Sri Ravi Shankar standing beside the helicopter with his followers and interacting with the locals gathered there.
The incident took place around 10:30 am.
Later, the Art of Living Foundation said in a statement that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was on his way to Kumbhabhishekam at Sri Andhra Kapaleeswara Swamy Temple in Tiruppur district along with Sri Brihannayaki Ambika when the incident took place. It added, “Due to adverse weather conditions, the pilot decided to make an intermediate stop at Uginiyam. Gurudev and all the people on board are completely safe. After this temporary stop, Gurudev reached the event as well as Also headed to my next engagement.”
