Emirates moves forward with plans for ‘largest ever’ fleet retrofit – Henry’s Club

Dubai: Emirates has moved ahead with plans to replace the interior cabins of 120 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, the two largest commercial aircraft in service today.

The multibillion-dollar project will begin in November and will be entirely managed by Emirates Engineering, which aims to completely refurbish four aircraft every month over the next two years.

When completed in April 2025, approximately 4,000 new premium economy seats will be installed, 728 first-class suites will be refurbished and more than 5,000 business-class seats will be upgraded to a new style and design.
