England vs India 5th Test canceled due to Covid concerns – World Latest News Headlines

The fifth Test between England and India to be played at Old Trafford was dramatically canceled hours before the start of the first day due to fears of Covid in the tourist camp.

Discussions continued between England and Wales Cricket The Board and the Board of Control for Cricket in India after India’s assistant physio Yogesh Parmar tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday.

India’s players later approved an emergency round of coronavirus testing, but concerns were raised about the safety of the game and on Friday morning India said they were unable to field a team.
