Jonny Bairstow England beat Test world champions New Zealand with a scintillating half-century at Headingley’s home ground on Monday. England set a target of 296 runs for victory, winning the third Test by seven wickets, ending 296-3. Bairstow scored an unbeaten 71 to reach England’s second-fastest Test half-century to the landmark in just 30 balls when he was dismissed for 71.
