English Football League clubs have agreed a new £935 million ($1.18 billion, 1.07 billion euros) rights deal with broadcaster Sky Sports, it was announced on Friday.
More than 1,000 matches will be broadcast in a season, representing the three divisions below the EFL Premier League – the Championship, League One and League Two.
But Saturday’s blackout means the games, which start at 3:00pm local time (1400 GMT), cannot be broadcast live in the UK.
