ISL League Shield winners Jamshedpur FC on Sunday appointed former England youth team manager Eddie Boothroyd as their head coach for the upcoming season.

The former Watford manager most recently worked with the Football Association, captaining the Young Lions in 2016 and guiding them to the semi-finals at the 2017 Euros.

The 51-year-old, however, left the youth team ahead of his contract after being ruled out of the European Under-21 Championship.

Eddie will now replace Owen Coyle, who led Jamshedpur FC to their first win in the League Shield last season.
