Every tournament is accompanied by good food and drink – we eat delicious goodies while cheering on our favorite teams. Monkey Bar in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj is a place frequented by sports enthusiasts from the capital city. The restaurant is offering a special menu with scrumptious regional cuisine, chilled cocktails and an electrifying atmosphere to watch all the matches during the cricket season.

monkey bars Pavilion 2.0 is a limited-edition menu inspired by each team’s state or city that you can cheer for this cricket season. Be it Rajasthan or Punjab, Kolkata or Delhi – there is a dish dedicated to every team. The very first glance at Monkey Bar makes it clear that this is not your typical restaurant. Set in a sprawling green area, this restaurant is shaped like a pyramid of glass in the French Museum Louvre. Wood finishes, quirky decor elements, live match screenings playing on television screens, a pool and a foosball table complete the lively and sporty atmosphere.

we started with our meal Rajasthani Royal Pithore – A delicious snack that was crispy outside and creamy inside and a highly recommended pick from the menu. It was served on a bed of the signature green matar masala, drizzled with sweet curd and tamarind chutney. was next on our list Titans of Dabelik – A dish inspired by Gujarat with the flavor of Dabeli inside a crunchy pastry. The baklava-filo sheets were stuffed with spice and tamarind potatoes, edamame, and truffles with melted cheese, confit garlic, fig and apple sauce, cashews, pomegranates, and sev.

In the main course, we sampled taco time out from Delhi. This peeled taco preparation featured braised mutton topped with onions and tomatoes, along with korma sauce. The dish was extremely satisfying and satisfied all our food cravings. we also tried Masala Podu From Chennai – A crispy masala puri filled with spicy Chole Bhalla. Like the chaat dish Raj Kachori, this wholesome dish was a delight for street food lovers like us!
