Actor Hunter Schaefer (of.) excitement-Fame) has joined the cast of ballad of songbirds and snakeswhich is a prequel to Liongate The Hunger Games,
The film, adapted from Susan Collins’ 2020 book of the same name, takes place decades before the adventures of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence). The Hunger Games, ballad of songbirds and snakes Coriolanus will revolve around Snow, an ambitious boy who eventually becomes the tyrannical leader of the dystopian country of Panem.
According to time limitShaffer will appear with Tom Blyth and story of the west-Star Rachel Ziegler in the prequel. Blythe will play the young Snow, while Ziegler plays Lucy Gray Baird, a tribute to the poor District 12 girl.
Schaefer will play Tigris Snow, Coriolanus’ cousin and confidante, who mentors him in everything—from his role as mentor to the core of his moral compass.
The latest draft of the screenplay is by Michael Leslie, based on the work of writers Susan Collins and Michael Arndt.
The project will be produced by Nina Jacobson and her producing partner Brad Simpson along with Francis Lawrence. Suzanne Collins, Tim Pallen and Jim Miller will serve as executive producers.
Schaefer made his acting debut portraying Jules in the HBO critically acclaimed series excitement, she is currently working in the film Cuckoo From director Tilman Singer.
