EVeium to launch three electric scooters in 30 days – Times of India

Elysium Automotives, the auto arm of UAE-based Meta4 Group, today announced the launch of its electric two-wheeler brand. evium in India. EVeium plans to launch three electric scooter within a month.
EVeium will be a completely Made-in-India brand and all the scooters of the brand will be manufactured at META4 Group’s Voltly Energy manufacturing plant in Telangana.
Voltly Energy has recently signed an MoU with Government of Telangana To acquire 15 acres of land in Zaheerabad, Telangana EV manufacturing Unit. The brand says that it will invest over Rs 250 crore to set up an EV plant that will be functional by the end of this financial year.
“Our aim is to make quality driven EVs at affordable rates for the Indian customers as per the Fame2 approval prescribed by the Regulatory Authority of India. Many electric vehicle brands in the market are launching products that only contribute to the negative image of electric vehicles. With a professional and efficient team, we are poised to revamp Indian thinking about riding safe and confident electric vehicles.
“We are introducing 3 electric scooters keeping in mind the value positioning and mobility competition of the country. Further, we intend to create a complete Made-in-India product that will help the brand control quality and technology as per the requirements of the Indian customers,” said Mr. Aditya Reddy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Evium.
EVeium will work towards providing users with the best of range of EV offerings including Electric Scooters, Cycles and Electric Bikes, the brand states. Furthermore, it states that EVeium will provide its own telematics app with features like Digi Locker, nearest charging station location, geo-fencing and more.
EVeium has already started adding dealers and will have presence in Maharashtra, Gujarat. Tamil NaduAndhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal by the end of the financial year 2022-23 as a part of its initial expansion plan.
