Italian motorcycle brand Fantik has expanded its Scrambler model range by introducing a new Explorer trim in Milan. The Fantik Caballero 500 Explorer joins the scrambler, flat track and rally versions, and uses the same 449 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the other 500 models in the range. The engine remains in the same condition with the same multi-plate clutch and 6-speed gearbox making 40 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The Fantic Caballero is already available in 125 cc, 250 cc and 500 cc versions, which includes a Scrambler, a Flat Track and a Rally version. The Explorer 500 cc version expands the range.

The new Explorer features adjustable suspension front and rear from the Fantik F ₹, 43 mm inverted fork at the front with 200 mm of travel, while twin hydraulic shocks at the rear, along with 200 mm of travel. Spoked aluminum rims come in a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear combination, mated to off-road ready Michelin Anaki Wild tyres. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm floating disc at the front wheel and a 230mm rear disc with standard dual-channel ABS from Continental.

The Caballero Explorer 500 features signature scrambler design elements such as high fenders, high-mounted exhaust pipes and a classic circular headlight. It comes with a standard luggage carrier, as well as a pannier rack on the left, along with a side bag. The bike stands out with its two-tone white and matte bronze livery which makes it quite an attractive scrambler. The bike gets a small 12-litre fuel tank, though the dry weight of 155 kg can make it shimmer in the dirt. Seat height is 860 mm. The Caballero Explorer 500 will be available in Europe as a 2022 model.
