United Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Saturday took out a march from Shaheed Smarak to Civil Lines in Jaipur to protest against the government’s inaction towards their demands related to MSP.
Before taking out the march, the farmers initially gathered at the martyr’s memorial to hold a meeting. Later, he marched towards Civil Lines. After the completion of the march, the protesting farmers also handed over their demands to the Governor.

Farmer leader Rajaram Meel highlighted the long battle fought by the farmers against the three farm laws, citing the historic retreat from the Center in withdrawing the three farm laws.
After that, the government had promised to return the MSP guarantee and electricity law in a written agreement on December 9, 2021. But even today the promises have not been fulfilled. ‘Next phase of farmer protest’, he said.

Com Amra Ram, another farmer leader, also criticized the government for making false promises.
“Farmers have been cheated. Amara Ram said, in view of all these, the SKM has decided to lay siege to the Raj Bhavan. He also informed that the farmers have already handed over their demands to the governors. On starting the protest in a phased manner from all the state capitals, which will again start the protest across the country.
Significantly, farmer unions took out protests and marches across the country on Saturday in memory of the farmers’ protests carried out in 2020-21.
SKM did on 17 November announced Organized massive protests on the second anniversary of the SKM-led farmers’ struggle and submitted a memorandum to President Draupadi Murmu through the concerned governors on 26 November.
