New York : America’s top infectious disease official Anthony Fauci said on Tuesday it is “imaginable” that the spread of COVID-19 could drop to the point that the country experiences it as endemic rather than a pandemic next year.
“For me if you want to be endemic, you have to have the level of infection so low that it doesn’t affect society, your life, your economy,” Fauci said in an interview with Reuters Total Health. The conference, which virtually runs from November 15-18.
