Police have registered an FIR against Pakistan’s Test leg-spinner Yasir Shah and his friend for kidnapping, molestation and threatening a girl.
Following the girl’s complaint, an FIR was registered at the Shalimar police station in Lahore. There has been no response from the Pakistani cricketer on this issue so far.
In the FIR, the girl has alleged that Yasir’s friend Farhan abducted her at gunpoint, raped her, videotaped her and later threatened her.
The girl has alleged that Yasir Shah helped her friend and later Farhan threatened her that they would release her videos if she raised any voice.
According to the complaint lodged with the police, the girl says that when she requested Yasir for help on WhatsApp, he laughed at her and asked her to keep quiet on the whole matter.
The girl also claims that when she went to the police, Yasir offered her a flat and monthly expenses for 18 years if she kept quiet.
Yasir did not travel to Bangladesh for the recent Test series as he is suffering from a finger injury.
