Firing in Delhi’s Saket Court: Woman shot in court, hospitalized

The incident of firing has come to light in Delhi’s Saket court on Friday. A woman has been injured in the incident and has been admitted to the hospital. A senior police officer told PTI that the woman was with her lawyer when a man shot her.

According to the information, the police is on the spot.

Earlier, on September 24, 2022, two gunmen disguised as lawyers opened fire inside Delhi’s Rohini court. The gunmen were killed in police firing. The two assailants, Rahul Tyagi and Jagdeep Jagga, allegedly entered the courtroom posing as lawyers and fired several shots at gangster Jitendra Mann alias Gogi.

In April last year, a firing incident had taken place at Rohini court following a scuffle between two lawyers and one of their clients. According to the police, a Nagaland Armed Police (NAP) constable posted at the court opened fire on the ground.
