First, BJP will hold national executive meeting in hybrid manner in view of rise in covid cases

Firstly, keeping in mind the rise in Covid-19 cases, the BJP’s national executive will be held on November 7 in a hybrid manner. While some party leaders in and around Delhi will be physically present at the meeting, others will attend virtually.

The meeting is likely to be held at the BJP headquarters in Delhi and will be ahead of the upcoming five state assembly elections. Usually Prime Minister Narendra Modi gives speeches in such meetings.

The BJP had recently reshuffled its national executive and dropped the mother-son duo of Maneka and Varun Gandhi among others. Several new names were added, including Rajiv Banerjee, who went back to the TMC on Sunday.

Union ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia, Virendra Kumar and Ashwini Vaishnav also joined the national executive.
