Team Liger Made our Diwali more special by unveiling the first look of legendary boxer Mike Tyson from the film, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday. On Thursday, the makers of the film as well as the star cast shared a new poster of the film. Liger In which the first look of Mike Tyson from the film is shown. Dressed in a gray suit, the former world heavyweight boxer looks fierce as he prepares for a furious and powerful punch. Sharing the poster on social media, Mike Tyson wrote: “Hi India. Be ready to beat the crap you always love #LIGER.” Vijay Deverakonda also shared the poster with this caption: “Happy Diwali India. Pucca #Agalaga dang. #liger.” Liger Puri is directed by Jagannath and produced by Karan Johar.

Mike Tyson joining the cast of the film was announced by Vijay Deverakonda in September. He shared a video featuring the clip of “Kid Dynamite” Mike Tyson with an audio message and wrote: “We promised you the madness! We’re just getting started. First on Indian screens. In our collective spectacle. JOINing – #LIGER. Worst man on the planet. God of Boxing. Legend, The Beast, The Greatest of All Time! Iron Mike Tyson.” The audio message was: “We are proud to announce… for the first time on the Indian screen… the man who created history… the unbeatable icon… the one and only legend, is on board for the great Mike Tyson Our prestigious project, Liger.“

Liger Vijay Deverakonda is depicted as a mixed martial arts fighter. The film is going to release next year.
