Walmart-owned Flipkart on Wednesday said it is introducing a separate marketplace model ‘Flipkart Xtra’ to provide flexible earning opportunities to individuals, service agencies and technicians. Flipkart aims to add 4,000 part-time associates through Flipkart Xtra for the entire festive season running till December 2021.

Of the total last-mile recruitments, around 7,500 are for its grocery network and around 1,000 will be done at Myntra’s distribution centers (DCs) distributed across the country.

The roles that are being closed include the posts of DC Assistant, DC Support Staff and Delivery Staff. Most of the recruitments including diversity are being done in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune and Lucknow.
