Flood below danger mark in Medigadda

In Krishna basin, heavy flooding continues in Almatti (2.25 lakh cusecs), Narayanpur (2.14 lakh cusecs), Tungabhadra (1.07 lakh cusecs), Ujjani (59,000 cusecs). As a result, there was heavy flooding of 2.77 lakh cusecs in Jurala, 3.89 lakh cusecs in Srisailam, 3.30 lakh cusecs in Nagarjunasagar, with excess water being discharged from the 38, 10 and 26 spillway gates.

Downstream, over 3.53 lakh cusecs were being flooded at Pulichintala, which helped the authorities to discharge the heavy floods towards Prakasam barrage.
