Flower seller employed labor to fill the pit

Fed up with the problem of potholes outside his flower shop, a shopkeeper took the initiative to level the road so that drivers, pedestrians and their customers would not be inconvenienced.

The shopkeeper hired a laborer and filled the space with mud to clear the pit on the pipeline main road in Malleswaram and the surrounding area.

When the work was going on, some municipal employees reached the spot and asked the shopkeeper to stop the work. He insisted that they fill the pit with gravel.

However, shopkeepers, motorists and some pedestrians told civic workers not to gravel in the pits, saying they were crushed and ultimately did not solve the problem. Instead of dumping gravel on the potholes, he requested to lay the road properly and make it smooth for vehicular movement.
