Australia’s Tim Paine will take a break from all forms of cricket for “the foreseeable future”, Cricket Tasmania said on Friday, prompting him to resign as Test captain following a sexting scandal.
“After discussions over the past 24 hours, Tim Paine has advised Cricket Tasmania to take a leave of absence from all forms of cricket for the foreseeable future,” it said in a statement.
