New Delhi: Former Chief Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh Announced on Tuesday that he would soon start his own political party.
Amarinder, who was unceremoniously evicted by the Congress, has also said that he is ready for an alliance. BJP If the farmers’ protest is resolved by the Centre.
Amarinder had to step down as the Chief Minister of Punjab after a tough struggle for power. Navjot Singh Sidhuwho was appointed Punjab Congress Headed by the party high command.
“I will not rest until I secure the future of my people and my state. Punjab needs political stability and security from internal and external threats. I promise my people that I will maintain my peace and security. Will do what is at stake today to ensure that,” the former chief minister said in a post tweeted by his media advisor.

The former CM, who had not officially resigned from the Congress, had said that he was humiliated by the party and indicated that he would take his next political step at an appropriate time.
Amarinder had also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his Delhi visit, sparking speculation that he would join the BJP. However, the former CM had clearly said that he would not join the BJP.
